Pokémon Snap was made available to Switch Online on June 24. This game was originally released in 1999 and was different from other RPGs in the Pokémon series because players had to capture Pokémon on film instead of using PokeBalls.

The game was made by HAL Laboratory and became a cult classic among Pokémon fans around the world. When this game was released, due to the small storage capacity of Nintendo 52 cartridges, the players could only take 60 photos.

Now that Pokémon Snap is coming to Switch, gamers will be able to hunt a much broader selection of Pokémon. This brand-new adventure is going to incorporate Pokémon from newer generations and will have amazing visuals that feel alive.

At the beginning of the game, you will start with a simple camera. But as you progress, Professor Mirror will provide you with special items that will attract Pokémon’s attention and even evoke different reactions from them. For example, some of them will be attracted to Fluffruit, while others will be drawn to the sound of the flute. You might even find Illumina orbs that you can throw at Pokémon to make them glow.

Unlike in the original, some of the courses can now be done during the day and night. The experience you will get from the course during different times of the day will be very different, so it will be very worth your while.

If, however, you aren’t content with playing Pokémon Snap, you can always look forward to playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in the last quarter of this year.
