Facebook Works on Reels Reactions

It looks like Facebook is working hard to provide more tools for its users. Once the company released Reels, it became only a matter of time before they decided to add emojis inside. While users are enjoying the new experience with Reels service, Facebook is working on reactions they can share with Reel creators and other users.

If you have ever watched Reels and wanted to express your emotions anyhow, your dream came true. Facebook is busy working on the new reactions you can send to the Reels’ owner. It is better than to send separate messages thanking you for the short clips you like.

Reactions are still not ready. Meanwhile, we already have updates on them. According to the leaked data, there will be seven emojis. You can pick one of them and send it to the Reel you like. For now, all you can do is to send a comment to the Reel creator or like it. These options are available on Facebook and Instagram. However, you can’t express emotions that you may experience while watching the video. If you prefer to express your thoughts with emojis, this situation may seem unfair.

While some users can’t wait to see and use emojis in Reels, others believe this work is useless. They consider Reels as a short video that was meant to be too short to reply to it. If you want to send emojis you can still do it in the Stories. Yet, the vast majority disagrees. Users who prefer to send reactions on videos are excited to share their emotions with Reels creators. Apart from that, Facebook measures the time and your reactions to videos, including Reels. The information they gather can be used to suggest to you more Reels that may interest you. If you send positive emotions you can inspire Reels creators too.
