Snapchat is launching a new feature that will allow you to share an eBay product in Snaps and Snap Stories while viewing it in the eBay app. Once you shared a product, there will be listings stuck over your post.
According to Snapchat, buyers around the world prefer eBay for buying items that range from rare to ordinary, and the number of eBay fans is more than 142 million. Snapchatters who choose eBay will enjoy the new experience of looking for and sharing eBay items on their favorite platform. Those who sell on eBay will now integrate it with Snapchat in a convenient way, attracting Snapchatters interested in their goods.
Another brilliant opportunity for eBay sellers on Snapchat would be to be able to promote their latest lists in Snaps or Snap Stories for their subscribers. However, this is yet to be realized on the platform.
Snapchat is going to continue its advances into eCommerce, introducing an extensive choice of augmented reality features, Bitmoji digital items, and improved product listings for shopping.
eBay is not the first eCommerce to be integrated with the platform. Amazon items are actively displayed by means of the Snap Camera. This could also be integrated with eBay in the future, providing users with more ways to do their shopping without leaving Snapchat and forming new shopping habits of users.
To enable an eBay listing in your Snap, take these steps:
- Locate and choose any listing in the eBay app.
- Tap the “Share” icon and then tap on the “Snapchat” option, which will transfer you to Snapchat Camera with the eBay sticker.
- Next, make your customized Snap with the eBay Sticker and layer on with the help of the creative toolbox.
While sending a Snap with the eBay sticker, the person who is receiving it can tap the sticker allowing them to jump to the eBay app listings.
