Last Monday, there was an official announcement of Snap for Web, which was presented as a browser-based counterpart to the application. The principle of installing such an extension, as well as the functionality, is similar to other messaging services. Thus, to access Snap through the browser, the user must go to the company's website using Google Chrome. Snap for browsers has much in common with its mobile version, with messaging and reactions being available. Lenses will also become available even though they are still an unreleased feature. After its release, it will be available only to Snapchat+ subscribers who live in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US.

Since the release of Snapchat for browsers is yet to come, the company warned in advance that this version of the application would first become available only to users with a paid subscription who live in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The company plans to gradually improve functionality that will allow communication through desktops, which will make the app even more convenient for use in both the business industry and social sphere. The browser app will include features such as Chat Reply, Chat Reactions, and Lenses that are available only for a limited number of users.

To use Snapchat through a browser, go to the official website using Google Chrome and enter your password and log in, after which you can fully use the application. A paid Snapchat subscription is also included in recent updates; with its help, users will have extended functionality and many nice bonuses.
